Thank you to everyone who supported the 2016 Thanksgiving Blessing by following along, sharing our vision, and/or giving to the cause.
A special thank you to my mom, Diane Faustin who funded 50% of one meal and assisted in the seasoning of both turkeys. Thank you to Susan Shinkawa and Family for their generous monetary donation of $50. Kaua Neumann of Papahana Kualoa graciously volunteered to Imu our turkeys, which turned out be really flavorful and delicious!

After dropping off our first meal in Kaneohe, we made the trek out to Waianae, where we met the Teixeira Ohana.
The Teixeira Ohana was referred to us by Joanna Heibert, volunteer of Church on the Park.
Chanel, her husband, Joshua, their 5 kids, along with their grandpa opened their doors of their life on the farm. They manage a farm of 15 horses, many of which are rescued island-wide, goats, chickens, pigs, and dogs. Aside from describing day to day operations on the farm, Chanel shared with us about some of the challenges her and her family have experienced and overcome these past couple of years.
We went there to be a blessing, but Adam and I definitely left feeling the most blessed. Chanel not only exhibits hard work and dedication, but also resilience and passion to persevere and push through some of her hardest times.
Thank you Chanel and family for meeting with us, sharing your story, and allowing us to be a blessing.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
